Anthony Frank "Birdman" Hawk (born May 12, 1968), better known as Tony Hawk, is an American professional skateboarder. Tony gained significant fame for completing the first 900 at the 1999 X-Games as well as his licensed video game titles distributed by Activision. Hawk was born in San Diego, California, to a retired U.S. Navy officer, Frank Hawk and his wife Nancy, a part-time business teacher. An older brother of Tony bought a used skateboard at the age of 8 and his father constructed a ramp in their backyard. At the age of 11, he landed his first contest win and turned pro by the age of 14. He graduated from Torrey Pines High School in the North County Coastal area of San Diego, California. On April 27, 1999, he was the first skater ever to land a 900. He successfully landed the trick, which involves completing two-and-a-half revolutions, on the twelfth attempt. After doing so, Tony commented that "This is the best day of my life." During X Games 2001, he again successfully performed the trick. In 2002, Tony Hawk started the Jam, which is a small event featuring competitions in many sports such as motorcross, skateboarding, and BMX with a show in Las Vegas. In 1987, Tony Hawk appeared in the film Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol as one of the teenage skateboarders. In 1989, he appeared as a skateboarder in Gleaming The Cube. In 2002, he appeared in Francisco Echevarria's and Christopher Gilcrest's film xXx playing the role of one of Xander Cages stuntman friends, and later in the movie, a skateboarder at a party. In 2004 he played himself in the Australian skateboarding movie Deck Dogz. In 2006, Tony Hawk appeared in a cameo on the film Drake & Josh Go Hollywood as himself, When Drake & Josh steal his car to escape from two crooks with I Pods that carry illegal information for counterfeiting money. Tony Hawk also asks for the cops to give Drake & Josh a police escort to Sunset Studios, for a performance on TRL. Hawk has had a cameo in film The New Guy. Hawk appeared in Jackass: The Movie with Mat Hoffman and Bam Margera, skateboarding in a fat suit and Jackass 2, while skateboarding thorugh a obstacle course. He also plays the police officer who arrests Ryan Dunn in the movie Haggard: The Movie. Hawk also made a brief cameo appearance in Lords Of Dogtown as an astronaut, where he is shown comically falling off the skateboard as he is a "rookie".

Iron Maiden (the group)

Iron Maiden are an English heavy metal band from Leyton in East London, formed in 1975. The band are directed by founder, bassist and songwriter Steve Harris. Since their inception, the group has released a collective total of thirty-five albums: fourteen studio albums, nine live albums, four EPs and eight compilations.
As pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Iron Maiden achieved success during the early 1980s and after several lineup changes, went on to release a series of platinum and gold albums. These include the US platinum-selling landmarks The Number of the Beast in 1982, Piece of Mind in 1983, Powerslave in 1984, the acclaimed live album Live After Death in 1985, Somewhere In Time in 1986, and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son in 1988. Their most recent studio effort, A Matter of Life and Death, was released in 2006 and peaked at number nine on the Billboard 200 and at number 4 in the UK. The album was certified gold in the UK. It is also one of the few rock albums to be certified platinum in India.
As one of the most successful heavy metal bands to date, Iron Maiden have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, without significant mainstream or radio support. According to their official website, since their debut in 1980, over 75 million albums have been sold by EMI Records label. The band won the Ivor Novello Awards for international achievement in 2002, and were also inducted into the Hollywood RockWalk in Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California during their tour in the United States in 2005. Their influences include Thin Lizzy, UFO, Deep Purple, Queen, Uriah Heep and Wishbone Ash. As of October 2009, the band has played just under 2000 live shows during their illustrious career.

Mötley Crüe is a American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1981. The band was founded by bass guitarist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, who were later joined by lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil. Mötley Crüe has sold more than 80 million album copies worldwide, including 23.5 million in the U.S.
The band members have often been noted for their hard-living lifestyles; all members have had numerous brushes with the law, have spent time in jail, have suffered long addictions to alcohol and drugs, have had countless escapades with women, and are heavily tattooed. Their ninth studio album entitled Saints of Los Angeles was released on June 24, 2008, while a film adaptation of their best-selling autobiography The Dirt is due to be released in 2011.
